Job Summary
Cyber Operations Analyst needed to support a federal contract at Ft. Meade, MD. Responsibilities focus on cyberspace analysis, incident and threat analysis, cyber intelligence activities, and contributing to cyberspace situational awareness through reports, dashboards, or briefings. Requires collaboration with federal cyber centers and incident response teams, strong analytical and communication skills, and an Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly. Preferably holds or is pursuing certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, GIAC Cyber Defense, or other DoD 8140-compliant credentials; HS diploma with Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT/CS/Intelligence Studies/Information Systems is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting a CSOC/SOC/NOC or similar operational environment
- Experience performing cyberspace analysis, incident analysis, threat analysis, or cyber intelligence activities
- Experience collaborating with federal cyber centers, security teams, or incident response personnel
- Experience contributing to cyberspace situational awareness products, reports, dashboards, or operational briefings
- General understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and defensive cyber operations
- Experience monitoring, assessing, and reporting on cyberspace operations, capabilities, risks, and vulnerabilities
- Ability to analyze incomplete or conflicting information and develop recommendations for operational decisions
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, incident response processes, and security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, written communication, and problem-solving skills
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly
- Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, GIAC Cyber Defense, DoD 8140-compliant certifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or bachelor's degree in relevant fields preferred
