Job Summary
Conduct system assessment and authorisation activities against Defence and Australian Government cyber security frameworks, including the Information Security Manual and Protective Security Policy Framework. Undertake Operational and Design Effectiveness Reviews, audit cyber security controls, and develop Security Assessment Reports, Authority to Operate briefs, and risk assessments. Identify and evaluate cyber security and business risks, assess vulnerabilities, and perform threat modelling and architecture assessments. Review security documentation to ensure compliance, support Change Control Boards, and provide trusted cyber security advice to project and engineering stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with Defence, project, and operational teams while working in a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in DCIAB-CSAA as a Cyber Security Assessor
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and/or IRAP accreditation
- Knowledge of radio and satellite communications systems and/or Defence-specific systems
- Understanding of modern networking, operating systems and ICT environments
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical reports and assessment artefacts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Current AGSVA NV1 minimum clearance
- Citizenship that allows access to US export-controlled material (requires disclosure of dual citizenship and country of birth)
