Job Summary
Support planning, implementation, management, monitoring, and upgrades for security measures protecting Fuse and DoD data, systems, and networks. Troubleshoot security and network problems, respond to breaches, and ensure infrastructure protection through appropriate controls. Test and identify vulnerabilities, implement IA controls, and maintain compliance with DoD RMF while participating in change management. Work across the design process supporting sprint planning, code reviews, and scrum. Requires 6-8 years of hands-on cyber experience, Linux and virtualized systems expertise, and a DoD 8570 IAT Lvl 2 certification. U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information System, Engineering, Scientific or related Technical Field from an accredited college or 6 years equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Cyber or IT role
- Experience with virtualized systems and administration (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of various wireless client tools to detect and resolve issues
- Hand's on experience configuring, testing, and troubleshooting firewalls
- Experience installing and maintaining network security protocols
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Linux Systems
- Experience with DoD IA and RMF frameworks
- DoD 8570 IAT Lvl 2 cert
- Working knowledge or experience with military networking systems and/or tactical data links
- Knowledge/experience configuring and troubleshooting communications applications (email, chat, VOIP, etc.)
- In-depth experience with Linux and virtualized systems
- Knowledge of Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Systems (C4IR)
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must be a nimble self-starter who is excited about technology and has the ability to think out of the box and suggest powerful new ideas
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including VLANs, subnets, protocols, and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting wired and wireless networks
