Cyber Development Underwriter

Underwrite complex SME cyber risks within agreed authority and appetite while owning and developing a panel of brokers to position Markel as a preferred partner. Drive pipeline creation, new business conversion, and income delivery by actively engaging brokers through meetings, development plans, and training events. Maintain accurate CRM data to enable data-led engagement and reporting, while contributing to team performance reporting and cyber trading activity. Coach and support junior underwriters through referrals and mentoring. This role requires a commercially minded cyber underwriter with proven experience in the SME space, strong knowledge of cyber exposures, and demonstrable success in building broker relationships.
