Job Summary
Cyber Crime Prevention Consultant responsible for driving development and implementation of leading-edge authentication and cyber-crime prevention technologies at Aflac; performing operational alerting, detection, mitigation, review and escalation of Account Takeover events; aligning technology with business goals; partnering with business units to ensure capability and strategic alignment; and communicating cyber security concepts to business users. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and six+ years of cyber security experience in financial services or insurance, with working knowledge of information security laws and standards (FFIEC, GLBA, HIPAA, PCI DSS); certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CISA/CRISC are preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. The role offers hybrid or remote work depending on location within the continental US, with hybrid arrangements for those within 50 miles of Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC and remote arrangements for others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems information security or related field
- Six or more years of cyber security experience
- Working knowledge of information security related laws, regulations, and industry standards (FFIEC, GLBA, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
