Cyber Analyst - Wellington

Job Summary
Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber security incidents and anomalous events within critical OT/ICS/SCADA environments, specifically for Train Control and Maritime/Ships systems. Manage remediation activities, enhance security tools and controls, and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Support cyber security assurance, policy development, and stakeholder relationships while participating in a 24/7 on-call roster. Conduct risk assessments, training, and reporting to strengthen organizational awareness. Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience in Cyber Security or a related field such as OT/ICS/SCADA, network administration, systems administration, or software development
- Experience and diligence working in highly regulated safety environments (e.g. electrical, transport, maritime, energy, or medical)
- Knowledge of cyber security principles, frameworks, and industry standards
- Experience with, or exposure to, cyber security technologies such as LevelBlue, TrendAI, Trellix, CyberArk/Idira, Proofpoint, FortiSOAR, FortiAnalyzer, or similar platforms
- Scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to identify, investigate, and explain anomalies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer-focused mindset
- The ability to write clear reports, conduct assessments, and provide practical recommendations for risk mitigation and continuous improvement
- Participating in a 24/7 on-call roster
- Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
