Cyber Advisory Senior Associate

Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day execution of cybersecurity assessment engagements for HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS, CMMC, and other frameworks by interviewing client personnel, reviewing policies and technical evidence, and performing detailed control testing. Identify compliance gaps and risks while developing practical remediation recommendations, then assist clients in understanding findings and supporting remediation planning through collaborative discussions. Prepare high-quality workpapers, documentation, and deliverables that communicate risks and corrective actions, while managing multiple engagements simultaneously to meet project deadlines. Mentor junior team members and contribute to engagement planning, scoping, and business development activities such as client presentations and proposal development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
- 3–6+ years of experience performing cybersecurity assessments, compliance audits, or information security consulting engagements
- Experience performing assessments against one or more of the following: HIPAA Security Rule, HITRUST CSF, PCI DSS, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), ISO/IEC 27001
- Experience conducting client interviews, evidence reviews, technical control testing, and report writing
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and work effectively in a client-facing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a public accounting, cybersecurity consulting, or professional services environment
- One or more of the following certifications: CISA, CISSP, HITRUST Certified CSF Practitioner (CCSFP), HITRUST Certified CSF Assessor (CCA), PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Certified CMMC Professional (CCP), Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA), CRISC, Security+
