Job Summary
Execute precast concrete product manufacturing and building fabrication while following standard work methods and safe procedures. Operate basic machine tools, set up equipment, and lift raw materials or finished items manually or via hoists. Read and interpret work instructions, perform pre-operation equipment inspections, and report identified issues to the Foreman. Maintain a clean work area and ensure timely shipment of products. Requires high school diploma, one year of precast experience, ability to read tape measures, and capacity to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience in a precast production environment
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices
- A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork
- Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Average proficiency in mathematics
- Good visual acuity
