Job Summary
Execute pre-operation equipment inspections, set up and adjust machine tools, and lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists. Interpret work instructions to complete jobs timely for shipment while maintaining a clean, safe work area and following all standard work methods. Carry out verbal and written instructions from the Foreman and collaborate with quality and production teams to identify process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices
- A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork
- Ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Average proficiency in mathematics
- Good visual acuity
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment
