Job Summary
Set up components for welding according to specifications and select equipment based on project requirements. Inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws, utilizing angle grinders to prepare parts. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures. Requires 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment with proficiency in all welding positions; TIG and experience with aluminum or stainless steel are assets. Required Qualifications
- CWB Certified Welder
- 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment
- Welding proficiency in all positions
- Clear communication skills in English
- Night Shift availability
- Monday to Thursday schedule
- 3:15 PM - 1:45 AM shift hours
- Ability to set up components for welding according to specifications
