CW Contingent Worker

CW Contingent Worker will be responsible for the full scope of services provided by VWR on-site at the client's Toledo center, including warehouse reception, inventory management, purchasing, reagents handling, solvents filling, shipping, waste management, environmental reporting, SOPs, and any tasks delegated by the supervisor. The role emphasizes client-service excellence, serving as the single point of contact for assigned tasks, ensuring coverage of client needs, and performing laboratory-related duties, procurement, and regulatory compliance in a mostly on-site, Monday-to-Friday schedule. Key duties include warehouse management, reagent handling, shipping, inventory control, lab tasks, purchasing, goods reception, waste management, environmental support, safety risk prevention, office materials support, and lab materials management, with strong emphasis on safety standards, quality, teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement. Requirements include a professional training or basic degree (or equivalent experience, 2+ years in the chemical sector) and at least 1 year of chemical-sector experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and experience with database systems (e.g., SAP).
