Job Summary
Monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary, peripheral, and structural heart procedures as a scrub assistant under the director's direction. Assist with education and mentoring of students and new hires while facilitating the delivery of quality, safe patient care. This Full Time, Day Shift position requires an on-call rotation. Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience with RCIS/RCES certification, along with BLS and ACLS. Located at UF Health's Leesburg Hospital, the team offers complex cases and state-of-the-art technology to elevate clinical skillsets.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- minimum of five (5) years' experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license
- valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- BLS
- ACLS
- On-Call Required
