CVT Charge coordinates and oversees daily operations of the Leesburg Cath Lab on the day shift, providing advanced cardiovascular technologist support while coordinating and leading the team to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a sterile field, adhering to infection prevention and radiation safety standards, monitoring patient status, documenting care in the electronic health record, assisting with contrast administration and vascular access, interpreting EKGs, managing emergencies per BLS/ACLS, mentoring and precepting staff, and contributing to quality improvement and process optimization in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
