Job Summary
Provide independent clinical patient care as a registered nurse within your scope of practice. Enhance core nursing skills through education and involvement in activities beyond basic job requirements. Maintain a current unencumbered RN license and BLS certification while working full-time days, nights, and weekends. Complete 13-week assignments that may be extended based on business needs. Minimum two years of specialty experience is required; BSN preferred. Join CommonSpirit Health to help establish practices for the travel program and work with a Program Director who is also a nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health)
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
