Job Summary
Support complex, high-acuity procedures including open heart, vascular, endovascular, heart and lung transplants, thoracic surgery, and advanced cardiac robotic cases as a scrub assistant to the physician. Verify functioning supplies and instruments prior to procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and ensure safe patient care within budgetary specifications. Mentor less experienced staff through orientation, in-service training, and skills competency development. Relocate with up to $10K assistance available; openings at Memorial City, Texas Medical Center, Northeast, and The Woodlands locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
- Relocate with ease
