Job Summary
RNFA opportunity with Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Springfield, IL supporting multi-specialty surgery teams. Responsibilities include coordinating and performing hands-on acute patient care at the bedside within the OR, role includes First Assist duties in the perioperative environment, collaboration with surgical teams, and ongoing credentialing/certification requirements. Requires RN licensure, BLS, CNOR or RNFA pathway credibility, and OR experience as applicable. Schedule: daytime, 40 hours per week, with shared call. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CNOR certification or RNFA program completion (or equivalent alternative for entry with CSTFA and OR experience)
- ACLS preferred
