Job Summary
CVOR RN responsibilities include applying ANA standards and ethics, collecting health data, developing and adjusting a patient care plan, administering medications and IV therapies, operating and monitoring medical equipment, and collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide family-centered, culturally relevant care. The RN teaches patients and families, supports staff development and precepting, and sustains ongoing quality and evidence-based nursing practice within the operating room specialty.
Required Qualifications
- CVOR experience
- RN license in the State of Arizona
- BSN required with 60-month BSN completion for diploma/ADN hires
- BLS certification
- National certification for unit-specific patient population
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing (RN) with BSN requirement
- Unit-specific certification as required by specialty area
