Job Summary
Assist the cardiovascular surgeon during intraoperative procedures by applying specialized technical skills and clinical judgment to ensure safe, optimal patient outcomes. Function interdependently with the CVOR team to support surgical operations. Requires a registered nurse with recent CVOR operating room experience, graduation from an accredited nursing school, completion of a recognized RNFA program, and current BLS and ACLS certification. State of Georgia RN license is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include certified perioperative nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse License
- Recent CVOR Operating Room experience
- Graduate of a recognized RNFA Program required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certified in perioperative nursing preferred
