Job Summary
Assess patient and family health needs, develop nursing care plans, and provide technical care across neonatal to geriatric populations. Uphold patient rights, maintain privacy, and identify self by name and title. Determine presence of Advanced Directives and report suspected abuse or neglect. Access Bioethics Committee resources as needed. Maintain current RN licensure in California, BLS certification, and one year of recent acute care experience. Complete Perioperative 101 or two years of inpatient operating room nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- One (1) year recent acute care experience
- Completion of a Perioperative 101 (or equivalent) course of study or two (2) years recent inpatient operating room nursing experience
- Registered Nurse: CA
- BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Other in health related field
- ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- PALS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
