CVICU RN

Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in the CVICU in collaboration with medical providers and the care team, utilizing nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families, teaches patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, follow-up measures, and healthy lifestyle changes, and participates in continuous process improvement to meet quality measures and enhance patient outcomes. The role requires ongoing documentation of care, teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff, and adherence to departmental standards within the CVICU setting. Primary duties include performing procedures and monitoring as ordered, educating patients and families, and supporting recovery through coordinated care plans. The position is full-time with night shifts and eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 with CVICU experience.
