Job Summary
Travel CVICU Nurse for a 13-week contract in a CVICU float pool. Responsibilities include ICU-level critical care nursing with fluency in hemodynamics, XYZ procedures, and telemetry interpretation; Titration of vesicant medications, managing vents and chest tubes, and readiness for transvenous pacing and cardioversion. The role may involve floating to additional units and locations. Requires NC or compact licensure, and candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility. Auto-offer arrangement with requirement to respond to offers within 24 hours. Night shift 12-hour shifts (12 per shift) with alternating weekends. Certifications listed include BLS, CCRN, ACLS, NIHSS; preferred IABP/Impella/CRRT. 13-week assignment details, travel only; no in-person local postings.”,
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission)
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months in last 12 months
- 24 months of ICU experience
- 3 months Cerner experience is preferred
- 9 months of acute care experience within last 12 months
- Travel only, local not allowed; must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
