CVICU Clinical nurse Day

CVICU Clinical nurse Day role provides direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit for post-operative cardiac, vascular and thoracic patients and those requiring high-intensity care. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards; promote patient and family centered care; educate patients and families on illness management and home care needs; ensure patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participate in professional development; develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team and family/caregiver; utilize critical nursing skills to address physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and population-specific patient needs.
