Job Summary
Conduct critical care nursing in the CVICU, managing patient ratios of 2/1 or 1/1 while titrating vesicant medications, administering pressors, and performing sedation and paralytics. Operate ventilators, tracheostomies, and manage PA catheters, transvenous pacing, and cardioversion. Assist with procedures including central line insertions, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis. Work night shifts (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with alternating weekends, adhering to a 12-hour shift schedule. Maintain BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications. This auto-offer position requires a North Carolina license, driver's license, and 24 months of critical care float pool experience, with travel only and no local placement allowed.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
