Job Summary
Conduct night shift critical care nursing in a CVICU setting with patient ratios of 2/1 or 1/1, managing titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics. Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis while interpreting PA catheter data and managing transvenous pacing, TEE, IABP, and Impella support. Work alternating weekends with a 12-hour shift, requiring a North Carolina license, CCRN certification, and a driver's license. This auto-offer travel assignment spans 13 weeks with a maximum of 10 days time off, located in North Carolina for candidates residing over 50 miles from the facility.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
