Job Summary
Conduct critical care nursing in a CVICU setting with patient ratios of 2/1 or 1/1, managing titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics. Perform procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis while operating equipment such as vents, telemetry, IABP, and CRRT. This auto-offer, travel-only position requires a North Carolina license, 24 months of critical care float pool experience, and alternating weekend shifts with a maximum of 10 days time off. Candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility and submit a clear response within 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
