Job Summary
Conduct critical care float pool duties in the CVICU, managing patient ratios of 2/1 or 1/1 while titrating vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics. Operate advanced equipment including vents, trachs, PA catheters, and CRRT, and assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions, cardioversion, and central line placement. Requires 24 months of critical care float pool experience with recent acute care work, a North Carolina license, and a driver's license. Alternating weekend shifts with 12-hour rotations, 10 days maximum time off, and an auto-offer process requiring a response within 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
