Job Summary
Responsible for verification testing, diagnosing and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies. Utilize test and measurement equipment to diagnose basic powered functional test failures at the component level. Follow assembly documentation (schematics, BOMs, EC documents) and assist in ongoing data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency. Adhere to safety and health rules, security policies, and production requirements; collaborate with the Diagnostic department to achieve yield goals and operate within the team to meet department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, EC documents, and visual aids
- Ability to use electronic test and measurement equipment
- Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Windows-based software
- Ability to diagnose and repair to component level in electronic circuit board assemblies
- Ability to interpret data and participate in ongoing data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency
- Commitment to safety and health rules and procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet department yield goals
