Job Summary

Cvent Event Planner for a twelve-month temporary assignment supporting the Event Strategy & Service team. Responsibilities include supporting multi-channel B2B and internal events (in-person and virtual), advising on attendee experience, handling full-cycle event logistics (venue/vendor sourcing to post-event follow-up), liaising with legal and procurement for approvals, supporting client relationship management and reviews, developing event materials, and assisting leadership in cultivating new event opportunities. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Planning/Production/Management or related field, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Cvent, experience producing in-person and virtual events, familiarity with Zoom/Teams/Brandlive, and strong project management, communication, and client-service skills. Normal office days are Tuesday–Thursday with remote Monday and Friday; ability to come into the office for unscheduled meetings; note indicates hybrid arrangement with mandatory in-office days.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Planning, Production, Management or related field or equivalent years experience and education desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Proficient in Cvent
  • Experience producing in-person meetings and events
  • Experience in producing virtual events and using virtual event platforms (Zoom, Zoom Webinar, Microsoft Teams, and Brandlive preferred)
  • General knowledge of Social Tables
  • Proven ability to analyze information and provide sound recommendations related to contractual issues quickly and accurately.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
