Job Summary
Direct the daily workflow of the painting crew, assigning tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines. Perform high-level painting, surface preparation, and finishing tasks alongside the team, including scraping, sanding, priming, and repairing damaged surfaces. Apply paints, stains, and coatings to commercial interiors and exteriors using various equipment while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to project timelines. Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure work meets company and client specifications. Ensure the team follows all safety protocols, including proper ladder usage and hazardous material disposal. Train junior painters on technique and tool maintenance, and act as the primary contact between the field crew and the Division Manager. Lead Commercial Painter in Camp Hill, PA. Year-round schedule, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-5 YEARS PAINTING EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Lead Commercial Painter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition, with the ability to stand, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Valid PA Drivers License and reliable, insured transportation
