CV Tech- Cath Lab PRN

As CV Lab Technologist in the Cath Lab (PRN), you will support physicians during invasive cardiac procedures including diagnostic heart catheterization, interventional procedures, electrophysiology, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures. Responsibilities include preparing medications under direct physician order, maintaining sterile technique, continuously monitoring ECG and blood pressure, documenting findings, coordinating procedural scheduling, responding as part of the lab's code team, assisting with inventory and billing in the EMR, guiding radiography students, and participating in hemodynamic monitoring and patient entry-site preparation. Requires graduation from a Medical Imaging Program, state radiography licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS (with additional preferences for ACLS and ongoing professional development). The role emphasizes collaboration with the health care team, patient safety, and accurate documentation of procedures.
