Job Summary
Lead research, design, and implementation of algorithmic modules for defect detection, classification, metrology, and image analysis on semiconductor process control tools. Evaluate feasibility of classical and ML/DL computer vision algorithms, conduct literature reviews, and prototype solutions addressing complex customer use cases. Collaborate with compute infra, software, and systems teams to productize algorithm solutions, validate concepts against large datasets, and benchmark performance. Write optimized, production-quality code in C/C++ and Python, integrate algorithms into inspection tools, and optimize compute resource efficiency using CUDA or OpenCL. Requires strong background in computer vision, deep learning frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch), and GPU programming. New Ph.D. or Master's candidate with 4+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in Semiconductor industry
- Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and DL technology
- Expertise in C/C++, Python and working experience with Tensor Flow, PyTorch or similar framework
- Knowledge of GPU programming using CUDA or OpenCL
- Academic background in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
- New Ph.D. graduate or Master's (with 4+ years of experiences) in computer science/electrical engineering or similar fields
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
