Job Summary
Invasive Cardiovascular Technician provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, assisting physicians with radiologic imaging, serving as scrub/tech, maintaining sterile conditions, operating imaging equipment, and documenting procedure events. The role includes patient education before/after procedures, collaboration with RN and surgical team, and ensuring unit readiness and safety. Requires registration/certification in CV imaging (ARRT/RCIS/RCES), BLS-HCP, ACLS, and a high school diploma; involves on-call obligations and on-site duties in a 36-hour weekly schedule in a Cardiac/Cath Lab setting with a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered ARRT or RCIS or RCES or RCIS/RCES certification within 18 months of hire
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP)
- ACLS
