Job Summary
CV Invasive Specialist in Training performs duties for cardiac catheterization procedures under proctoring/supervision, contributing to procedure room prep, patient monitoring, and documentation. Develops knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies; assists as circulating/scrub/monitoring tech; ensures imaging safety and operates cath lab equipment; provides patient education and supports the clinical team under RN supervision. Proficiency in cardiopulmonary physiology, pharmacology, and interpretation of hemodynamic data is developed with guidance from mentors. PRN role at Intermountain Health Saint Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable license or certification in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- ACLS required prior to working on-call
- Demonstrated relevant clinical experience (e.g., LPN, Respiratory Therapist, EKG tech, Radiology Tech)
