Cutter Machine Operator

Job Summary
Set up production equipment by preparing cutters and manual lines according to product specifications. Complete safety inspections to verify guarding, e-stops, and safety devices before operation. Perform changeovers by adjusting inline cutters, outfeed conveyors, and merge tables for new products. Track product identity while maintaining accurate lot numbers and documentation. Ensure product quality by verifying slice count, cut accuracy, and final appearance before packaging. Follow GMPs to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all food safety standards. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures in a fast-moving environment with both manual and automated equipment. Shift runs 4:45pm to 2:45am Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 6 months–1 year of related manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Strong manual dexterity and motor skills
- Solid eye-hand coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work Monday-Friday
- Ability to work 4:45pm-2:45am shifts
- Ability to dress appropriately for temperature variations
- Ability to handle chemicals for sanitation processes
- Ability to work with common food allergens including milk, soy, wheat, egg, tree nuts, and peanuts
