Job Summary
Process, weigh, and label trim cheese; move product through packaging lines by separating pieces, feeding them to check-weighers, or placing them into bags. Accurately weigh cheese pieces, communicate variances, and ensure products meet quality standards including metal detection and visual inspections. Palletize product accurately, verify box information, and maintain legible record keeping. Keep work areas clean, assist in changeovers, and communicate operational observations to supervisors. Adhere to Food Safety and Quality requirements of the SQF Program by reporting any food safety issues immediately. Perform all tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work occasional weekends
- Must be able to frequently lift 45 pounds
