Job Summary
Cut & Grind Specialist responsible for grinding de-molded hulls/decks and fiberglass parts, and cutting holes into boat hulls for instruments and hardware. Work in a bay with a team, following PPE and OSHA procedures. Must operate grinders, sanders, hole saws, jig saws, and diamond cutters, maintain a clean work area, inspect parts for quality, and comply with safety and quality standards. Requires ability to read and follow instructions, work in a non-climate controlled environment, and lift up to 50 pounds while standing long hours. High attention to detail, dependability, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with fiberglass, cabinetry building, or auto body repair
- Proficiency with grinders, sanders, hole saws, jig saws, diamond cutters, scrapers, and similar tools
- Must pass a spirometry test
- High attention to detail and precision with hand tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with non-controlled climate
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Must adhere to safety standards and quality standards
- Ability to work with diverse teams

- High School Diploma or equivalent
