Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist (m/w/d)

Job Summary
Ensure smooth and efficient customs processes while adhering to customs and trade regulations. Coordinate classification processes between engineering, suppliers, and customs agents. Gather and review technical data for tariff classification of parts, equipment, and systems. Maintain and update tariff numbers in relevant systems, including annual updates for newly published data. Support Trade Compliance Managers and the Global Customs Manager in daily operations. Collaborate with internal interfaces and external partners. Contribute to smaller to medium IT improvement projects, such as the ERP system IFS, trade compliance software, and master data initiatives. Assist in the continuous improvement of customs and trade compliance processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich Trade Compliance, Zollvorschriften oder Import/Export
- Qualifikation als Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Certified Export Specialist (CES) oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
- Gutes Verständnis internationaler Handels- und Außenhandelsvorschriften
- Fließende Englischkenntnisse
Desired Qualifications
- Affinität zu IT-Systemen, idealerweise Erfahrung als Key User in ERP-Umgebungen
- Erfahrung in der Implementierung externer Trade-Compliance- oder Zollsoftware von Vorteil
- Sehr gute Microsoft-Excel-Kenntnisse für Datenanalyse und Reporting
- Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
