Job Summary
Customs & Trade Compliance Manager responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating smooth import/export operations. Leads FTZ operations, coordinates activations across Contract Logistics, mentors FTZ team members, supports procedures and training, maintains accurate documentation and audit readiness, liaises with CBP, drives process improvements, and oversees tariff migration and duty savings strategies in collaboration with Regulatory, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years in FTZ/Trade Compliance, with 2-3 years of supervisory experience; strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, proficiency in ACE/ABI/ICRS/ERP, and certification advantages. The role is remote in the USA (Texas) with extensive regulatory and cross-functional responsibilities across global logistics and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in international trade, supply chain management, or a related field
- 4+ years’ experience in FTZ management, Bonded Warehouses, or Trade Compliance
- 2-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in a logistics or compliance environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations and FTZ operations
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) preferred
- Proficient in ACE, ABI, ICRS, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing customs documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with international trade agreements and requirements
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations
- Certificates & Licenses: CCS, AZS or CZS certification advantageous
- Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal)
