Job Summary
Customs & Trade Advisory Leader: senior expert delivering high-value consulting on global import/export strategies, compliance, tariffs, and regulatory risk. Lead delivery of engagements, build client relationships, and shape new service offerings in a fast-growing environment. Remote position with some travel. Responsibilities include identifying advisory opportunities, advising on global strategies, leading engagements, managing duty spend and risk, researching regulatory developments, promoting the company's customs & trade brand, supporting business development, and maintaining industry relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience in consulting or advisory services focused on trade compliance
- Technical expertise in customs valuation, classification, COO, FTAs, and export controls
- Experience engaging with U.S. CBP and other government agencies including BIS, OFAC, or DDTC
- Strong client-service orientation and ability to manage senior-level interactions
- Demonstrated success in managing projects, influencing and leading others
- Ability to think strategically while executing detailed analytical work
- Self-starter with a dynamic personality who balances working independently & connecting with others
