Job Summary
Customs Specialist responsible for U.S. Customs (CBP) transactions including entry and admissibility of merchandise. Duties include researching documents, communicating with clients and CBP, managing customs entries, monitoring clearance and recordkeeping, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Verify classification and valuation with importers, obtain required documents, and ensure timely payment of duties and taxes. Maintain and update documents under 19 CFR 163, coordinate with clients, customs brokers, and government agencies, and participate in trainings. Preferred qualifications include a U.S. Customs Brokerage License and experience with ACE Secure Data Portal; must be fluent in English and proficient with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Customs brokerage
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, processes, and documentation
