Job Summary
Customs Process Administrator coordinating and organizing the full range of customs services within an Agile team. Responsibilities include understanding and performing customs clearances including certificates, solving incidents, ensuring timely and accurate completion of Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements, delivering financial activities related to Customs House Brokerage, collating data reports for management and stakeholders, maintaining relationships with customers and internal teams, actively participating in customs-related projects, ensuring training to cover all accounts, promoting team spirit, and meeting deadlines. Requires strong administrative skills, customs knowledge or certification, English fluency (Dutch a plus), and the ability to work in shift hours (7:00 AM–6:00 PM). The role is with Maersk Customs Services, a global logistics leader with a diverse and inclusive culture, and may involve background checks (VOG) during hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Relevant customs experience/certification
- Local customs knowledge is an asset
- Fluent English is required, Dutch is an advantage
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Customer-facing skills with a high level of customer orientation
- Team engagement and support
- Experience with Outlook and Microsoft applications
