Customs Import Team Lead

Oversee the import process and ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign government laws by guiding customers through customs requirements, preparing documents, determining tariff payments, and tracking shipments. Resolve customer problems accurately, assist subordinates to complete departmental work, and provide written instructions to direct reports while maintaining office operations during manager absence. Manage aging export audit reports, communicate status to managers, and assign audits to regional employees. Pursue new sales leads by collaborating with the sales team and discuss services with current clients. Stay up-to-date on customs and Deringer procedure changes and provide coverage for CHB operations when staffing needs arise.
