Job Summary
Coordinate and process customs clearance for import and export shipments, preparing and verifying customs declarations and relevant documentation. Review customer and shipment documents for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, internal processes, and data quality standards. Collaborate with operational teams, clients, international partners, and customs authorities to resolve complex clearance issues and monitor ongoing processes for deviations. Maintain customs-related data and procedures in our systems while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of customs workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Ausbildung zum/zur Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung, zum/zur Kaufmann/-frau für Groß- und Außenhandelsmanagement oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
- Berufserfahrung in der internationalen Spedition
- Gute Kenntnisse der Import- und Exportzollabwicklung sowie der dazugehörigen Dokumentation
- Gutes Verständnis für zollrechtliche Vorgaben und ein ausgeprägtes Bewusstsein für Compliance und Datenqualität
- Eine strukturierte, sorgfältige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office
- Kommunikationsstärke und Freude an der Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden, Behörden und internen Teams
- Eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
- Überblick bei mehreren parallelen Vorgängen
- Analytische Herangehensweise (Dingen lieber auf den Grund gehen als weitergeben)
Desired Qualifications
- mehrjährige Erfahrung im Bereich Zollabwicklung
- Erfahrung mit Zoll- und Transportmanagementsystemen
