Customs Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
Customs Compliance Specialist to support US import compliance: classify new US import items using HTS codes, prepare binding ruling requests, maintain classification data and KPI tracking, coordinate with brokers and US Customs for entry filings, advise on classifications, FTAs, FDA product codes and agency requirements, audit entries, resolve post-entry issues (CF28/CF29), and contribute to tariff engineering and regulatory research. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, HTSUS/19 CFR knowledge, SAP S4 and MS Office proficiency, and familiarity with tariff programs and oversight of customs processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of HTSUS classification and 19 CFR regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with import compliance and customs processes
- Understanding of tariff programs and regulatory requirements
