Job Summary
Customs Clearance Specialist at ZF in Ostrov, Czech Republic, responsible for customs and regulatory compliance of goods movements, managing import and export clearance, preparing, reviewing, and maintaining customs documents, and submitting Intrastat reports. You will ensure data accuracy in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), cooperate closely with inbound/outbound teams, identify risks in customs processes and propose mitigation actions, and leverage knowledge of EU/international trade regulations and Incoterms to support compliant, timely material flow.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary or university education (logistics, economics, or related field preferred)
- Basic exposure to WMS or ERP systems (academic projects, internships, or first job experience qualify)
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Czech and English
- Knowledge of customs regulations (EU / international Trade)
- Experience with import and export processes
- Knowledge of Intrastat reporting, Incoterms
- Understanding of HS codes and product classification
