Job Summary
Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow by accurately entering data into operational systems and tracking custom files for reporting. Transfer declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to build valid entries, while assisting with verification and submission to customs authorities. Maintain full compliance with regulations and interpret desk-level operating procedures to fulfill customer instructions. Manage client billing and handle multi-file tasks with strong prioritization and attention to detail. This on-site, full-time role (40 hours/week) supports Expeditors' global supply chain mission through seamless, integrated information systems and customized international trade solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
- Fluent in English- reading and writing
- Ability to work with deadlines and timed requirements
- Multi-file handling, amazing with details, and sense of prioritization

Desired Qualifications
- Good knowledge of customs brokerage process, customs legislation - especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin
- Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation process
