Job Summary
Customs Brokerage Agent responsible for ensuring proper and timely movement and clearance of freight within the Customs Brokerage department, including accurate data entry, shipment tracking, proactive client communication, and compliant billing aligned with SOPs and KPIs. The role requires customer-service orientation, cross-training to support team coverage, and the ability to professionally represent Expeditors to customers, service providers, and government agencies. Local presence in Brisbane, CA is required; the position emphasizes efficiency improvement, technology adoption, and delivering excellent logistics support. Hourly range offered is $22.00–$30.00, with full benefits and potential bonus after the first year.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE LOCAL
- Knowledge and/or prior experience of industry specific qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understand customer expectation to meet SOP and KPI
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
- Track and trace shipments
- Data entry into operational system based on defined metrics
- Compliance with company policies and external regulations
