Job Summary
Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow by transferring declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to build valid entries. Track and trace custom files and reporting while assisting with verification and submission to customs authorities. Maintain accurate and timely data entry and client billing, ensuring compliance with all import/export regulations and legislation regarding classification, valuation, and origin. Apply a proactive approach with strong organizational skills to fulfill customer instructions and expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of customs brokerage process, customs legislation - especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin
- Understanding of ocean, road and air documentation process
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Pro-active approach, strong organizational and computer skills
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word)
