Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily customs brokerage operations as Primary Permit Holder for the Brokerage, ensuring CBP regulatory compliance and maintaining operational integrity across all customs activities. Manage and supervise ISF filings and customs entries, ensure accuracy of shipment data (release, billing, classification, valuation), coordinate releases and arrange transportation/warehousing, and handle entries for vehicles and personal goods imported by air and ocean. Maintain shipment data within internal systems and utilize CargoWise for operational and financial functions. Provide cross-functional collaboration to mitigate risk and drive service excellence. Requires a Valid U.S. Customs Broker License and minimum 5 years in customs clearance operations, with prior managerial/supervisory experience and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Customs Broker License (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance operations
- Prior managerial or supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. customs laws, regulations, and industry practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-departmental coordination skills
- Proficiency in CargoWise software preferred
