Job Summary
Customs Analyst role processing and submitting customs declarations for clients across the EMEA region; performing tariff classification and ensuring correct valuation in compliance with local and international regulations; collaborating with internal teams and clients to gather documentation and resolve queries; monitoring changes in customs laws and communicating potential impacts; identifying and escalating complex issues to senior analysts; maintaining meticulous records to ensure high standards of compliance; requires 1+ year in customs brokerage/trade compliance, proficiency in customs declaration software, and fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or a related field
- Solid understanding of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and tariff classification within the EMEA region
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in customs declaration software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in German and English
